With Your Destiny

With Your Destiny is a Korean free-to-play MMORPG that was subsequently released worldwide within the WYD Global Project. Story-wise, it incorporates certain religious aspects, as humanity is nearly destroyed in a war between God with his angelic devotees and a group of rebellious Seraphims, lead by Harden. After the latter was defeated, he escaped to Earth and proceeded to obliterate all the people inhabiting it. A part managed to survive the slaughter, but the balance was broken and even after 400 years after the conflict, the player steps into a world of chaos.

Since the game is not particularly story-driven, this world background and other bits of information are known solely from the main website and quest descriptions. The game follows closely the traditional MMORPG formula using elements such as leveling up, grinding, learning skills, completing quests for experience points etc. The combat is carried in a point-and-click fashion, similarly to the one in Lineage: The Blood Pledge, and therefore, to the fighting mechanics in the Diablo games. There are four initial classes (Transknight, Foema, Beastmaster and Hunter) and two additional god classes, to which the player can transfer the character later in the game. Every initial class has a set of three skill masteries (or trees) - a means of developing a specific manner in combat, also reminiscent of Diablo II.
